Outdoor Activity Centre
Feel like staying at the resort? We've got many fun activities right here - volleyball, soccer, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and even "Giant Jenga" are available for complimentary guest usage. Tennis courts are also on property, and racquet rentals are available.

The Boathouse
Located on the shores of beautiful Lac Beauvert, The Boathouse offers paddleboats, canoes and guided Clipper tours. New this year: transparent kayaks, perfect for seeing fish and loons through the crystal clear water. Rental rates vary.

Athabasca Falls
Discover the thundering waters of the mighty Athabasca as it rushes over the falls.

Horseback Riding
A variety of trail rides are offered just steps from your room through Skyline Trail Rides. Hourly, half day and full day excursions are available.

Mountain Biking
There are hundreds of trails to choose from in Jasper, no matter what your skill level. Rentals are available.

Ice Explorer Tour
Journey down the Icefields Parkway, rated one of the Top 10 Most Scenic Drive in the World, and explore the Columbia glacier by bus. A must do!

Maligne Valley & Spirit Island Boat Cruise
Discover the history, geology and beauty of the famous Maligne valley.

White Water Rafting
Whether you're a beginner looking for an easy float down the Athabasca River, or up for some white water adventure on The Sunwapta, we've got something for you.

Guided Fly Fishing
Experience the excitement of fishing for Rainbow or Brook Trout and Northern Pike on one of Jasper's many lakes and rivers.

Miette Hot Springs
Relax in peaceful surroundings while soaking in the 40 degree celsius waters. The perfect end to a day of Rocky Mountain adventure!

Icefield Helicopter Tours
An amazing way to see Jasper National Park. Trips to the Columbia Icefields and Mount Robson as well as heli hiking, heli yoga, and even heli weddings are available.

Jasper Tramway
The Jasper Tramway is a seven minute ride to the top of Whistler's Mountain, with a restaurant, gift shop, and some of the best views in the Rockies awaiting you.

ONSITE WINTER ACTIVITIES

Cross Country Skiing
Explore the endless beauty of Jasper, Alberta while getting some cardiovascular exercise! Ski rentals are available at the Rocky Mountain Golf Shop. Cross country skiing can also be done off property, as there are literally hundreds of trails around Jasper.

Skating on Lake Mildred
There are two groomed skating rinks at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge: Lac Beauvert and Lake Mildred. Rentals are available.

Tobogganing
We have a perfect sledding hill for the little ones to use right in front of The Lodge. Toboggan rentals are free for kids!

Snowshoeing
Another wonderful way to experience the many trails is by snowshoe! No experience is required, and it’s a fun activity for any age. Rentals are available.

Wagon Rides
Ride through our winter wonderland the good ol’ fashioned way, listening to the jingling bells of a horse-drawn sleigh. Rides are seasonal and weather dependent - see Concierge for more information.

Skiing & Snowboarding
Discover the new high speed chair, great terrain, and wide open spaces at Marmot Basin! The ski hill is only 20 minutes from The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, and daily shuttles are available.

Mike Wiegele Heli-Skiing
Travel by helicopter into the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains and experience the challenge of steep trees, the thrill of a glacier descent or the more relaxed pace of our gentler slopes as you explore more than 1,200,000 acres of back country ski terrain.

Maligne Canyon Ice Walk
Explore a frozen wonderland on this guided tour through Maligne Canyon. Ice climbing is also available.

Dog Sledding
Take your family on the adventure of a lifetime! Speed through the heart of the forest to see the spectacular snow capped mountains and frozen waterfalls. Tours are available just outside the park - see Concierge to book.
